Stephen Rew holds his Bachelors and Masters of Music Education from the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. In over a decade as a public educator he has received his district’s Teacher of the Year Award two times and is a sought after clinician and motivational speaker with “Fired Up” Presentations. Currently, he is the Repertoire and Standards Chair for Children’s Choirs for the Missouri Choral Directors Association and West Central Missouri Music Educators Association District VicePresident for Elementary Choirs. Rew is a full time music teacher at Eagle Glen Intermediate School in Raymore, MO and is also entering his 16th year as a professional church musician serving as the music director at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church nearby the location where he and his wife, Cindy and their children Mason (age 9) and Chloe (age 6) just completed building their dream home. www.stephenrew.com
